Hillside main farm-Home :) บ้านไร่เนินเขา

Where might we live you may ask yourself? Well how about a mud mansion, as I like to call it. Next question I'm sure is why a mud house? That was my same question when Angel first told me we'd live in one. Well actually I said how do you get furniture in a round house? I asked that question because all I knew of mud houses were pictures from Africa. :) But as we looked online there they were beautiful mud houses, and not round. Now a similar question for the teams; where will we stay? How about a bamboo bungaloo, with solar power. That's right nothing but the best for our guests. Actually they will be nice and it is a more authentic Thai feeling. We ourselves will stay in a wood hut already on the property until our house is made.

Now for this property let me give you some kind of visual. First off we have the use of this property; just outside of the village, due to it being part of Angel's inheritance. Angel's parents own this land, and her oldest sister and her husband grow sugar cane, and a few other things on it now. Her parents plan to divide this property between their 4 girls. Praise God.

That's where we'll stay on it, how we got it, and now what we'll grow on it.  Let's plant the seed of it here and as this blog goes on it can grow in your mind. Here's how the seed landed, back in December Jaeb (the woman next to Angel in our profile picture), told Angel she had a vision to have a farm and was looking for property. Well Angel remembered her vision and told her, my parents have land lets go see it. As we viewed this beautiful hillside property with it's pond, sugar cane growing, and mountains in the background, Jaeb said it was exatly like her dream down to the little pink lilly in the pond. So now this idea, this seed, is getting watered. As Jaeb spends time with God He shows her how to grow things that can be harvested weekly, monthly and yearly. Teams that come will learn how to work this Thai farm and also reach out to the villagers. This part of the project will be what sustains our ministry until the cafe and tree farm get going.

This whole project will sustain itself so we will not have to go asking for support, and can just focus on the outreach, and eventually pass it on to others, and then on to the next part of His plan for us. The harvest. :) Can't you just imagine yourself drifting like a seed on the wind over to JfarmS?

Please pray for Jaeb and her family, especially her husband who isn't a believer yet. She has a young son, so they will not be moving to the village right away. Pray for her safe travels back and forth to help us plant. This is about a 7 hour drive one way.

               คุณอาจจะมีคำถามว่า...แล้วเราจะไปอยู่ไหนกัน? ถ้าเป็นคฤหาสน์บ้านดินล่ะ? ฉันชอบเรียกแบบนั้น 55+ คำถามต่อไปคือ...ทำไมต้องเป็นบ้านดินล่ะ? มันเป็นคำถามเดียวกันกับตอนที่แองเจิ้ลบอกฉันตอนแรกใช่เราจะอยู่ในนั้นกัน ที่จริงแล้วฉันมีคำถามว่าเราจะจัดวางเฟอร์นิเจอร์ในบ้านดินทรงกลมได้อย่างไร? ฉันถามคำถามนั้นเพราะความรู้เรื่องบ้านดินที่ฉันเข้าใจก็จะคิดถึงแอฟริกา ฮ่าฮ่า...แต่ตอนที่เราออนไลน์ดูก็มีบ้านดินสวยๆ หลากหลายแบบและไม่ใช่แค่ทรงกลมแบบที่ฉันคิดเท่านั้น และคำถามเดียวกันกับกรุ๊ปต่างชาติว่าแล้วเขาจะไปอยู่ที่ไหนกัน? บ้านไม้ไผ่กับแผงพลังงานโซล่าเซลล์ล่ะเป็นไง? เข้าท่ามั๊ย? มันอาจจะไม่อหรูอหราแต่มันก็ดีที่สุดสำหรับผู้มาเยี่ยม ที่จริงแล้วบ้านไม่ไผ่เราจะสวยเป็นแบบสไตย์และอารมณ์ไทย-อิสาน เราเองก็จะอยู่กระท่อมไม้ที่อยู่ในที่ดินจนกระทั่งบ้านดินเราเสร็จ
             ฉันจะอธิบายที่แปลงเนินเขาให้คุณเห็นภาพว่าเราจะใช้ที่แปลงนี้ได้ทันทีเพราะเป็นส่วนแบ่งมรดกของแองเจิ้ล ซึ่งพ่อ-แม่ของแองเจิ้ลมีแผนจะแบ่งที่ดินให้กับลูกสาวสี่คนอยู่แล้ว ขอบคุณพระเจ้า! ที่ดินอยู่ไม่ไกลจากหมู่บ้าน พี่สาวและพี่เขยของแองเจิ้ลดูแลและบริหารที่แปลงนี้อยู่ซึ่งปลูกอ้อยและพืชอย่างอื่น
             ที่นี่แหละที่เราจะปักหลักอยู่ และที่กล่าวมาข้างต้นเราจะได้ที่ดินมาและเราจะเพาะปลูกบนที่แปลงนี้ เราจะเริ่มเพาะเมล็ดพันธุ์พืช และเมื่อบลอคนี้อธิบายไปคุณก็อาจจะปลูกจินตนาการตามไปด้วยในหัวคุณ และนี่เป็นแผน ที่เราจะปลูก ย้อนกลับไปเดือนธันวาคม,2011 คุณเจี๊ยบ(คนที่ถัดจากแองเจิ้ลในรูปโพรไฟล์)  เล่าให้แองเจิ้ลฟังว่า เธอเห็นนิมิตที่จะมีไร่ และกำลังมองหาที่ดิน ซึ่งพอดีกับแองเจิ้ลนึกถึงนิมิตที่พระเจ้าให้ตัวเองได้ และเล่าให้คุณเจี๊ยบฟัง พร้อมกับเรื่องที่พ่อ-แม่ มีที่ดินและชวนไปดูที่ รูปภาพที่เนินเขากับสระน้ำ ไร่อ้อยที่กำลังโต และมีภูเขาเป็นภาพพื้นหลัง คุณเจี๊ยบบอกว่าเป็นภาพเดียวกับที่เธอเห็นในนิมิตแม้กระทั่งดอกบัวสีชมพูในสระ และแล้วไอเดียนี้ เมล็ดพันธุ์นี้ก็ถูกรดน้ำ... ขณะที่คุณเจี๊ยบใช้เวลากับพระเจ้าพระองค์ก็ได้โชว์ให้เธอเห็นว่าจะปลูกพืชอะไร ซึ่งจะเก็บเกี่ยวรายอาทิตย์ รายเดือน และรายปี กรุ๊ปต่างชาติมาก็จะเรียนรู้การทำงานแบบชาวไร่ไทย และประกาศกับชาวบ้านด้วย ส่วนนี้ของโครงการจะเลี้ยงตัวพันธกิจ จนกระทั่งคาเฟ่ และฟาร์มต้นไม้เริ่มดำเนินการ
             โครงการทั้งหมดจะเลี้ยงตัวมันเอง ซึ่งเราจะไม่ต้องขอการสนับสนุนด้านการเงินตลอดเวลา และเราจะจดจ่อกับการประกาศและในที่สุดเราก็จะสอนต่อให้คนอื่นๆ จนถึงแผนต่อไปที่พระเจ้าให้เราคือเก็บเกี่ยว คุณเห็นภาพมั๊ย? ภาพตัวเองเหมือนเมล็ดพันธุ์ปลิวไปกับลมและตกลงบน JfarmS เจย์ฟาร์ม?
             ขอคำอธิษฐานให้คุณเจี๊ยบและครอบครัว โดยเฉพาะสามียังไม่เป็นผู้เชื่อ และลูกชายวัยรุ่น พวกเขายังไม่ย้ายไปหมู่บ้านตอนนี้ อธิษฐานเผื่อเรื่องความปลอดภัยในการเดินทางของเธอทั้งไป-กลับจากชลบุรี-ชัยภูมิ ขาเดียวใช้เวลาประมาณเจ็ดชั่วโมง ที่จะช่วยเราทำไร่
